Frequently asked questions
Does Ogave have a real track record?
Yes. It carries the production traffic of the Alcyon group, in telecom since 2014, every day, to 42 countries, with hours of more than 500,000 messages. In tests it sustained 4,000 messages per second for one hour (14.4 million) without losing one: 200 times the average of a customer sending 50 million a month.
Which company is behind Ogave?
Alcyon Cloud LLC, incorporated in Wyoming, United States (15442 Ventura Blvd, Ste 201-482, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403). The Alcyon group has carried SMS traffic since 2014 with the brands SMS Directos and Reddantu.
Why does Ogave run on my server and not in your cloud?
So the business is yours. Your customers, rates, margins and routes stay on your server: nobody else sees them, not even us. You do not depend on someone else's cloud and the server is cheap (from about USD 30 a month). We install it, update it and watch it.
What happens if my server fails?
You do not hear about it from your customers. We watch your installation 24/7 with AI: if the server, a connection or a route fails, our team gets the alert with a diagnosis at once and helps you recover. At installation we also set up daily encrypted backups of your database off the server, in storage under your name (for example Cloudflare R2 or Amazon S3), keeping 7 daily, 4 weekly and 6 monthly copies. If the server is lost, we restore on a new one.
How much do the backups cost?
You pay the storage provider directly. For most customers it is USD 0–5 a month: Ogave's own production backups, with months of history, take about 4.5 GB compressed.
How does support work?
Proactively. Most failures fix themselves: remediation rules move traffic in seconds when a supplier goes down or a route stops delivering in live tests with real SIMs. For the rest, AI analyses every alert with its context and proposes one action from a closed catalog, and our team acts with you before you open a ticket. When you want to talk to someone: WhatsApp and email, with engineers who understand SMPP.
Can I try it before paying for a plan or the license?
Yes, in two ways. A free guided demo shows you the full platform with demo data and traffic. A trial with your own real traffic costs USD 200 for 30 days, installed on your server with installation included; if you continue, the USD 200 is deducted from your second month's invoice.
Perpetual license or monthly plan?
Start with the trial and a monthly plan. When your traffic and confidence justify it, move to the perpetual license: USD 10,000 one-time with all modules. Annual maintenance is required: the first year is included, then USD 1,800 per year for support and updates.
What server do I need?
Starter: a virtual server with 8 cores, 16 GB RAM and 200 GB NVMe (about USD 30–100 a month). Growth: a dedicated server with 8 cores / 16 threads, 64 GB RAM and 2 × 512 GB NVMe (about USD 120 a month). Scale: the same class with 2 × 1 TB NVMe (about USD 120 a month). Enterprise: 16 cores / 32 threads, 128 GB RAM and 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe (about USD 300 a month). Always: 64-bit Linux, a fixed public IP, administrator access and a 1 Gbps port.
Who sees my data?
Only you. Messages, customers and rates stay on your server. For proactive support we only receive the platform's health alerts.
How much does Ogave cost?
Starter USD 390 a month (up to 2 million SMS, 100 messages per second), Growth USD 890 (up to 10 million, 300 per second), Scale USD 1,900 (up to 50 million, 1,000 per second) and Enterprise per contract (up to 4,000 per second, all modules and an SLA). Setup USD 100. Annual plans are 25 % off.
